I ordered a Supercrew on June 12, 2000. I don't have a VIN yet.
Scheduled Build date 8/7/00.
I want to get an online Ford ESP warranty quote at: http://www.esp.ford.com/story_111.asp
but I need a valid VIN to get it.
I ordered an XLT, 4x4, 5.4L, 3.55 LSD, tow package, cab steps.
If someone has a similar model could you post your VIN here with XXXs in the palce oof the serial number, that way I could get several quotes and I'll put in my own numbers in place of the XXXs. It will ensure that your VIN will not be known to anyone but you and I'll be able to get an online quote.

Have you tried getting a VIN from a dealer who places their inventory online? Most of the dealers in my area show the VIN as part of the vehicle information page.

 

No, I haven't tried an online dealer.
If I need to I will just copy the VIN from one of the Crews on the dealer lot.
