I can pick up my new truck tomorrow, but the dealer just called and said that the torneau cover and side steps are on back order and wont be available for 2-3 weeks. I'm torn between picking up my new truck tomorrow and having to wait possibly longer than the 2-3 weeks for my parts or to leave the truck with the dealer to try and expidite my parts being installed. I figured if it was in their way, they might move faster. Whadda ya think????

Take your truck, cancel the side steps and pick up a pair of Westin's at your local truck access. dealer.

I can get mine for $300 installed locally and in my opinion they look better than the factory side steps.

 

decision is pretty much made...I'm definately going to pick up the truck tomorrow!!!!! I'll worry about the cover and step when the time comes.

I can't believe that you would even consider leaving it at the dealer. (I wish I had that kind of patience) Anyway, I don't think that I would leave it there unless you go and inspect the vehicle and find anything else that they have to work on. (like the stuffing on the drivers sear, if that is a problem in every truck).
