My Compass/Temp display is not lit up anymore. This doesn't seem to be fused by itself. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

 

Man I have the same problem and I have been trying to fix it for 4 months.....I have searched on here and other forums and most of them say either a fuse or the piece itself has gone bad. I am almost to the point where getting a new one is the way I may end up going. Cheapest I have found is $65 and that's pricey just to know what direction I am going and what the temp is.

 

I fixed my display. Remove the display from the roof, 1 screw in the front and 2 clips above the garage door opener compartment. Remove the display from the housing. I found that the 2 black flat resistors that are by themselves had the soder broken on one side. I re-sodered the two resistors and replaced all components. It now works fine. I'll try and post some pictures.
