svtaudio,

I don't understand why they had to trim the lid. I have the A.R.E. LSII and it fit like a glove. It did have some paint problems and they installed another lid without any problems.
Is your lid the Lo-Pro or the LSII?

Question

I am very interested in more info on A.R.E. LSII for the SuperCrew. Have found only one dealer (4 locations) in Dallas area and wants $899 installed less $20 coupon printable from A.R.E. website. I know dealers vary on their markup. They also stock Astro and Snug. Astro has photos of theirs installed on a SuperCrew on their website. I don't think the Snugs are out yet. Another dealer here has one by Covercraft, but haven't seen yet.

Crew Coach,

The ARE LS II opens higher than any other lid that I looked at. It also seems better built than the Leer that I had on my 94 Flair Side. I like the handle and the way the locking mechanism works. If you like, I can send you pictures on my truck.

The LSII is an excellent cover, fit and finish are perfect. I paid $645 plus tax with free installation. I can't say enough good things about it. The LSII is the way to go. GOOD LUCK
