Called VOPC 6/2 & was told as of 5/31 "unit released to convoy carrier awaiting convoy shipment". Called 6/3 and recording said "as of 5/30, unit has been shipped by convoy carrier". On 6/6, the message was updated to "as of 6/4, unit has arrived at the ramp". Called dealer afternoon of 6/5 and vehicle had not arrived. Stated that typically get deliveries on Wednesday or Thursday. Other dates are as follows:

Order scheduled 4/26
Build week 5/22
Unit "Bucked" 5/29
Unit Produced 5/30
Unit Released to Convoy Carrier 5/31
Unit Shipped by Convoy Carrier 5/30
Unit Arrived at the Ramp 6/4

I think the question "when are you going to get yor truck?" is similar to the one I tell the kids prior to a trip never to ask("Dad, are we there yet?").

Today, 6/8, I call VOPC and the new message is "as of 6/6, your vehicle has been delivered to its final destination on the order." So, why didn't my dealer call me and where is my truck? I drove by yesterday and saw other new Crews on their lot, but not mine. My salesman had the day off & no one else would be bothered, including the sales manager. And to add more frustration, someone from marketing called from dealership last night to do follow-up after delivery. Said note in his computer says I was to take delivery yesterday! If Quality is Job #1, then customer service must be about a thousand. WHERE IS MY SUPERCREW, DAMNIT!

Well, it finally arrived! Had to call my dealer yesterday and state message from VOPC. Was dropped at their remote lot and no one had bothered to check deliveries against reserved or ordered vehicles. Duh! Nerfs and wheel/spare locks I ordered were not installed since the guy who does that is off till Monday. Double Duh! At the CU, a buyer's order with my name was received for a 2000 Expedition rather than 2001 Supercrew. Triple Duh! Finally, at the dealer after papers signed, test drive, and during final walkthru, salesman steps away for 30 MINUTES! Quadtruple Duh! After all that, sales manager comes out for final 'Thank you' and says they and Ford will be sending survey and they hope they can receive top grades? I see future free tanks of gas for that to happen. By the way, for all who think they don't pay for advertising, check your invoice for FDAF assessment. Also, 10 gallons of gas from factory for $18. All that withstanding, I love the truck. People have been eyeing it like buzzards on fresh roadkill.

P.S. Will take it back Monday for aftermarket installs and said that I want free loaner. Dealer says no problem. I plan to work them over like they worked me. They're gong to earn the holdback, blue oval incentive, etc. Also, finance guy said Ford is no offering 6.9% on Crews.
