Wind Noise
Has anyone noticed and solved the wind noise creeping in around the door of a SCrew. I had the same problem with 97 SCab and was hopping it would have gone away. My 4x4 is 3 weeks old and if I get the dealer to tighten something it would be great.

No wind noise in my 'Crew 'cept when I drive with the windows down. Then, and only sometimes, there's a whistling sound at around 55-60 mph. I'd have to get wound a lot tighter than I am now for that to bother me.
You need to understand, also, that my other toy is a Jeep Wrangler. Now THAT's wind noise! Putting a radio and sound bar in one of those things is a complete waste of $$$.

I am very picky mind you, but I have noticed some wind noise at highway speeds. It seems to come from the rear vertical seal on the front driver and passenger windows. It seemed a little better after I rolled down the windows and pinched the window seal together a few times. I may end up having the dealer install new window seals if I keep noticing it.
I too am VERY picky when it comes to wind noise. One thing I found that seemed to help is this. The weather stripping around where the door latch mechanism is (door side) does not stick to the door frame. the clips hold it on but don't keep it tight. I used some 3M super weather strip adhesive on mine and got it to stick in place. This, along with using black silicone (sparingly) to seal the lower exterior window trim seemed to kill some of the wind noise.....3 more doors to go!
