Tire size upgrade?
Question: What is the largest tire size & rim width combination that can be used on a SuperCrew, WITHOUT having to do a suspension or body lift? I purposely got the base tires on 16" rims, as I intend to upgrade my factory rims/tires.
I've heard that you can go with a 33x12.50 on a 8"-10" wide rim on a F-350 SuperDuty, but that this doesn't hold true for the SuperCrew.
Anyway, any input would be appreciated!

You can use 285/75/16 or a 305/70/16. 16 x 8 rims are the largest you can use without a lift kit.....good luck.

Thanks, Richo! I'll look into those sizes.
I want to upgrade the tires without needing to lift the vehicle, or to lift it as little as possible. It still has to serve as a pracitcal working truck for bird dog training, fishing and hunting.
Winches and chains should take care of most off-road problems. If not, I'll just take my highly-modified Isuzu Amigo, with its short wheelbase, dual winches (front/rear), 32x11.50s and 5.555 lim. slip rear diff.

I don't know how much you tow but if you do you may want to change your gears. By going to a larger size you will decrease your gearing.
