Post Wheel Well Liner?

I've had my SCrew for about 24 hours now. It was definately worth the wait.

Two questions for you SCrew veterans out there:

1. Should there be something in the front wheel wells like a piece of plastic that would guard rocks and dirt from flying into the engine area? Specifically, when I look into the front wheel wells (ahead of the tire), I can see the back of the lights mounted in the grill. The wires are there in plain site. I can only imagine how much mud and small stones are going to be finding there way into this area. It surprised me to see this area so "open". Any comments?

2. Have any of you done anything to protect your spare tire in addition (or differnt) than the cable/lock that Ford provides? I just had my spare stolen from my Expy recently and it appears that anyone with the crank and a pair of snips can get the one from my SCrew. A parts guy at my dealer suggested getting the thickest piece of chain I could buy from my hardware store and replace the cable that Ford provides.

Thanks

-Mike

Question

Maz,
Just saw the pictures of your truck and it looks great. The one thing that I don't see is the mirror blinkers that I thought come with the Lariat. Please let me know if you ordered the truck without them, if this is normal with a 4X4 or what. Otherwise please post another picture on your website with the mirror blinker, if you can!?!?!

Dutchy,

Yes, my Lariat has the signal mirrors. They are indeed standard. I'll try to get a picture posted tonight of them.

In the mean time, you can see a decent picture of the signal mirror on SkyJet's web page at http://www.over.to/SuperCrew/

Thanks!

-Mike

I snapped a quick pic of the signal mirror. You can see it here:
