Post Chrome vs Stainless Step Bars

Any opinions on chrome vs stainless nerf bars? I am debating on which to get for my supercrew. Thanks in advance.

I would go for the stainless steel nerf bars!
The chrome could rub off and pit causing rust.
The stainless steel is unlikely to rust and if any cuts or scratches appear some steel wool would shine it up back to show condition.
Just my two cents

What brand are you going to buy? I want to buy some S/S nerf bars for mine as well but have had no luck finding a company who sells them.

Westin & Manik both make SS. Westin's are chrome plated SS. Both have WEB sites.

Stainless is the way to go, if you can keep it looking nice. Mother's chrome polish will keep it looking sharp. You have to keep up on the cleaning & polishing.

Smittybilt is about 30 days out from getting there nerf bars out. They are called SureStep. I have posted the Part # on another page here, but I cant find it!

I cant decide on getting these in stainless or black since I have a white truck with a lot of black (windows, trim, rails, etc). I think stainless will look nice though. Smittybiltis out of Corona Cal. www.smittybiltinc.com
