Sorry guys!!!
Didn't get back until real late Wednsday and had to go to work this morning. As you may have noticed in a previous post of mine, the truck was driven 60 miles from the rail yard. That was the only odd thing with the whole deal. of course we thought the bed extender was coming but didn't make the order. My dealer also verified the outrageous price of the unit from accessories, near 5 bills!! He did have a good idea though: He has a another customer that does not want one. He is going to put the extender on HIS order and sell it to me for the ordered price. You guys may want to push dealers for that break.
Back to the truck. The color turned out nice on the S-crew, I was worried it would be too light and bright. I also like the wheels, the chrome is easy to clean up to a shine. Contrary to some others, I actually think the stock radio isn't bad, like the speed sensitive feature and the mute button is pretty nifty. I can actually hear the thing with the moonroof open and a window down, unlike my 97'. The truck rides extremely nice, omce again better than the supercab. Of course the peddle adjust feature is cool, (I am 6'8" wife is 5'4"!!!!!!).
I only have a couple of 'nits to mention, even then I hesitate to sound petty!:
The door at the window sill is not as wide as my 97' and I tend to rest my arm in this area, a little narrow and hard, no biggy,( you asked!!
)
With a moonroof the sunglass space is gone and the armreat is tight
Noticed a couple of minor flaws in the paint
Obviously these are minor, and all in all impressed with this t"whatch ya mu call it" as my neighbor named it, he was perplexed, especially after seeing it fit in the garage.
My Applied products retractable cover is due in on Monday and a Bedrug in 2+ weeks. Had the windows tinted medium on the way home (2 sides and darker on the rear) No other mods until wife gets over sticker shock, hopefully late summer!!
Sorry to be long winded, but the truck appears to be what we all hoped for. The interior is great with a very usable bed to boot. Hope your trucks arrive soon and safe and sound!!!

F150SuperCrew,
Do you have a web sight for the Applied products retractable cover ? How much does it cost ? Please post back after you put it in and let us know how you like it. Better yet, take some pictures and show it to us.

How about posting some pix? If you can't, how about emailing some pix to USAF K9 so he can post them them on the other thread.
SHOCMAN:

SHOCMAN,
I just posted reply in other thread, however, reflecting back on all the info we've learned over the months (sonoma's kansas plant connection, "red's are popular so if you ordered one of those you'd probably get it quick) and the fact I have yet to see a 4x4 Wedgewood Blue, I guess you can kinda figure out why we have been waiting so long.

Ditto on Amazon Green (two tone no less). I've never seen one in person. I have seen White and Reds *everywhere*. Can you say loooooong delay? Just spoke to my dealer. They have not yet had one Supercrew delivered. They have had one on order since October and it keeps getting delayed!!! They show my build date as next week (just like the VOPC) and my truck has a VIN, but, they are non-committal on when I might actually see the beast. Their best guess? Five weeks after it is built. I hope they are just being conservative so, I don't get disappointed by further delays. It's a good thing I wasn't planning on selling any Microsoft stock to pay for the truck
LRM,
Saw my first Amazon Green (not two-tone0 4x4 last week. It was on the dealers lot. Nice looking truck. All have been nice looking. The only color I look twice at with uncertainty is the Island Blue.
I still owe you for the brochure
Whatcha want?

Sonoma - Thanks for the offer. Sure, I'll take the pics. My email is lmadsen@novonyx.com. The only Amazon/Silver combo I have seen was on an F150 Supercab. It looked good to me.
USAF K9 - The brochure was free (Duh!) and it was only $0.74 to mail it to you. Consider it my contribution to your daily Supercrew "fix."
