Fantastic pix, I still haven't seen one in the flesh and certainly these are the best pictures of the infamous 17" wheels. Mine will be toreador red so it's very similar. Thanks for keeping my mouth watering

Way too cool, Crewchief!

By the way, could you take a couple of measurements for me?

(1) Distance between the wheel wells on the cab end and

(2) On the tailgate end...

Should be approx. 50"

Thanks!

Crewchief,

Love the site. Lots of potential, nice lay out. I noticed on the "spec" page you have the dark graphite interior.

PLEASE TAKE PICS OF THE INTERIOR! Of the 25+ SuperCrews I've seen none have dark graphite. I'm going CRAZY trying to visualize my interior choice. I'M DESPARATE!

OH MY! Your signature (on this board) says you have med. graphite. Your "spec" page says you have dark graphite. You just introduced a new set of "corkscrews" on this rollercoaster I've been on for 3 months. HELP!

USAF K9, sorry about the confusion on interior color. Dark graphite is correct(signature was written weeks ago but went unused until the truck arrived oops!)I'm glad we ordered "dark graphite" , It will hold up a lot better with the kids and keep the cab brightness level down.

CrewChief,

I'm new to the site, and just saw your truck. It's great! I ordered my SC 7 March with a build date of 3 Apr and ship date of 17 April and I cant wait. Seeing your rims, I wish I would have ordered the 10 spoke, they look awesome. At the time the dealer said late avail and I didnt think I could get them, oh well. I just cant wait to get my truck. Maybe you can help me, I found that VOPO number on this site but cant figure out the code to enter my VIN. It asks for the first 2 didgets of the vin and I'm not sure what its asking for. I've tried all combinations. Whats the trick? Anyway, nice ride.

UH-60DRIVER,
I bet your truck wasn't a two tone! Thats a pretty quick turn around. Many of us are still waiting for build dates.
As far as the VIN number, you have to get that from your dealer.

Sonoma,

I do have the vin number thats the prob, I try entering the first two didgets and "no joy" then I try the first two letters and still no joy. Whats the code? And I thought that my truck was taking a long time, how long has it been for you? Thanks.

Dustoff--I've also flown a few medevac's in Honduras, never been to benning, but I did just get back from Bosnia.

UH-60DRIVER,

We didn't use our VIN number when using the VOPC. We used our order number and dealer number found on our order confirmation sheet that the dealer gave us. This worked just fine although it is a bit delayed.

For those who don't have the info here it is:

Ford Dealer Order Status Phone Number 800.962.3746

Dial - wait - press 1 - wait - press 1 - 1 - enter dealer number - press # then press 1 - 2 - 2001# - 1 - 9108#(for 4x4) 9107#(for 4x2) -1 - enter order number - press # then press 1 and listen for your order status.

Thanks Lisa/Crewchief,

Glad to see your wife is as into this as you. She couldn't resist getting her own membership. Cool Cool.

My wife has been there every step of the way, however, everything has it's limits. If only I'd ordered white (like she wanted) my curiosity would have been put at ease within 12 hrs. of returning the the grand ole USA. But no, I had to order Wedgewood blue and dark graphite of which I have seen neither.

Thanks for the picture of the dark graphite. I saw it on a 2000 extended cab, but wanted to make sure it was the same in the SuperCrew. IT IS! Whew! The only other dark graphites I have seen are in a Sport 150, Expeditions and Explorers. Did not like the material at all. Now my mind is at ease. Again, THANKS and enjoy!

What software did you use to create your site. I'm attempting to learn. I have Microsoft Office 2000, Front Page. Still diddling with that.

USAF K9, We are using FrontPage for the web site and PhotoShop to prep pics. We have a great digital camera so its going fairly easy, its just hard finding the time to get it going. FrontPage is a really good program and fairly easy (I am getting help) to use.
