the tacky (door handles, filler sticker and probably the mirror caps) stuff needs to go

chrome, like other colors needs to be done in proper porportion or else it looks tacky

if it were my truck, i'd go to a chrome harley truck grill, PTM the mirror cap and door handles, then add a silver pinstripe down the side and call it a day

I think it looks nice, i ahve a 08 lariate with frome grill bumpers, steps, handles chrome package and it looks nice. Its deffinetly somethin you have to keep up with cleaning and polishing but i think your truck looks nice. Keep the chrome.

It wouldn't look half bad if you had chrome bumpers.

Everyone has different tastes. Some like a lot of glitz, some like a little, some like none. If you like it, don't sweat it.

If it were mine, I would lose the mirror cap, the door handles and the gas lid. I would much prefer paint to match with just a small amount of chrome. But that is just my preference. You go with what you like.

Like the others have said, it just needs to be done right. Chrome looks sick on some things and not so much on others. Go back to the 50's. If your ride didn't have chrome on it then it was BOoooring!!! My father-in-law has the 08 White Sand Screw and he's a BIG chrome man. I also think for many it's one of those either you love it or ya' hate it.

its your truck man, seems to me like you like the chrome

but im just not a chrome fan, however i do admit it looks ok in some applications

if i had an 04+ i definately wouldnt do anything to make that proportionally small gas filler cap stand out more lol

Yup, it's the trucks that have a bunch of "stick-on" chrome.

And its not just because it's cheap. People go way overboard with it. I have the stick on handle covers. Just the handles, not the surrounds. The full mirror covers are ugly as ****. If you scale it back to the mirror caps, it looks great. And real stainless metal always looks better then plastic.

Just like diet, Anything is good -- In moderation!

Like others have said it would look better IMO without the mirrors and gas cap, and the handles wouldn't be so bad if they didnt have the chrome surround. But its your truck, so make it how you are gone to like it.
