upgraded equipment...downgraded performance

06, super, 4.6L, 47K, Added KN 77 series intake and Gibson superflow exhaust. when i step on the gas there's hesitation and no umph, where did i go wrong?

you probably need a tuner more than anything especially with the 4.6L

Get a programmer and that will be a thing of the past.

Curious, did you unhook the battery so the computer can relearn? If not try that.

Yes, reset the computer by unhooking the battery.

I bought the Edge Evolution for my programmer. What's the deal about unhooking the battery so the computer can relearn? How long should I keep the battery unhooked? Thanks for all the help!
