2007 Supercrew XLT Pricing?

Hey Guys, thanks in advance for any answers. I am looking at a 2007 Supercrew XLT 4x4 with all of the standard options. One little scratch on the door is all I can find, other than that a nice truck. 9700 miles. I can buy it for 19,500. Just wondering if that seems like a decent deal on this truck.

I paid 17k for a 07 4x2 chrome edition.... Mine had a little more mileage on it. 19,500 doesn't seem terrible, but I'd try and work them down as much as you can. Keep an open mind and shop around. I negotiated with 4 places before I bought mine. If its meant to be, its meant to be!

Cars.com was my best friend.... Just gotta get lucky with the selection though....

I am not sure what a "standard option" is, but i bought a new 2008 XLT, 4x4, 5.4, 3.73 with limited slip, audiophile stereo, towing package, chrome package, 18' wheels, a few other things. It stickered for $37,800 and (if I valued my trade right) was about $24,800 (it was actually $20,800 plus my 2000 Dodget Dakota Quadcab V* with 111,000 miles - I assume a wholesale value on it of $4,000). Anyway, the point is that $19,500 for a used (although just slightly) 2007 seems a little high to me. Especially since I know that I could now get at least another $1,000 or 2 off on mine as they have gotten even hungrier for sales. I know that there are still quite a few 2008's on the lots around here (P{ittsburgh, PA) - more the extended cabs than the Super Crews though. Market conditions in your area may vary though.

There might be and probably are better deals out there. Depends on how far you gotta go to get that deal. I would not take that price for my truck nor would most here unless they're in a bind. It is a buyers market right now but with gas prices plunging more people are riding their trucks now. I never stopped. Another thing is a new truck buyer takes a huge loss when he rolls off the lot. Used buyers do not and with that mileage the truck should be like new. #1 No No for me are rentals. They dog the crap outta them. Do a CarFax or make the dealer give you 1 if thats where you're gettin it.

Not sure if this helps, but I have a 2006 Screw 6.5' bed, 4x4, Lariat with 42,000 miles. Just last weekend I looked at doing a trade in for the 2009 F150 and Ford offered me $14,500 for my 2006.
