I just discovered this forum and thought I'd post some photos of the 2001 I just picked up.

Was looking for a Supercrew and stumbled across this one on e-bay. Didn't really need or want the wheels and tire package on this, but was too good of a deal to pass up.

Most 2001's I was looking at had 150,000 miles and up, and were going for $6995 and on up. Some dealers were asking $8995 even with these kind of miles.

I ended up getting this one with 101,000 miles for $5,700. Have to repair one of the rims and may need a new tire, but I think I still came out okay.

My signature shows the F-150 lineup at the current time...

I think the first step may be to replace the $5 "Euro Wipers"....

Looks nice. I would lose the step/fender flare combo. But it's your truck.

Taillights and chrome handle covers gotta go too. Isn't it fun how everyone is eager to mod or de-mod your vehicle for you? Welcome to the forum. Nice find on the truck. I like that color combo.

 

No kidding, somebody got real carried away in the chrome department...What you can't see is that there is even a chrome flames cover over the 3rd brake light!!

I might keep that for a little effect and get rid of the grille.

I do like the running boards, but not as much on the fender flares..

Oh well, it is a lot cheaper to take stuff off you don't like than to add things. for the price and the miles I can live with it...
