Hey all, I kinda strayed from the flock and sold my F-150 and bought a GMC 6 years ago... I know I am dumb LOL. So the GM is crapping out on me and I am looking at a 2002 Screw Lariet with 5.4, moon roof, power rear window and buckets. It has 100K miles on her. I was wondering what kinda problems I should look for. I know about the spark plug thing blowing out, but is there any other things too look out for? How reliable are the moon roofs in these trucks? Thanks

 

I think that front end wear should be the biggest thing you need to worry about. The ball joints, idler arm and tie rod ends are high wear items on our trucks. At 100k, if they have never been replaced, they will need to be shortly.
