Tropical storm Fay messed with my crew!!!

I'm a wanna be repair guy for my F-150. The recent storm that blew through South Florida, caused our basketball hoop to land on my driverside mirror. (luckily, no other damage to the truck)
I need to replace the entire mirror and housing around it and have a couple of rookie questions:
# 1)Are there any sites that can assist me in the correct way to remove the damaged mirror? ( i suspect I need to remove the door panel)
# 2) Can anyone suggest a reputable online aftermarket site that I can get the replacement mirror?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The panel is very easy to take off there is a few screws and it just pops up and then out. I would check the audio forums for removing the door panel I know I have seen it somewhere on there. The mirror will come off with just a few screws, and if it is electric you will have to unplug it from the factory harness. As for places to buy you can get one from ebay. I don't know the name of any vendors tho sorry.

Thanks. I'll check out the audio side. I just did a very broad google search on 2002 F150 side mirrors.........looks like there are a few guys out there that handle those mirrors. Was sure if there might be a "forum preferred aftermarket" supplier.
Thanks again for your help.
