Quality lifting in the East Bay?
Quality lifting in the East Bay?
Hi there, finally, my first post. I'm trying to get some suggestions regarding a good place to take my F-150 to get lifted. Any suggestions on which products to go with?
East Bay...
Hey Vince,
I just saw your post and thought I'd give you my .02 cents!
First off in Pleasanton, there really is no truck centers that I'd bring my F150 to...there's Valley Truck in Castro Valley that I used to buy a lot of my gear from, but I don't trust them cutting/welding my frame. PickUps Plus in Livermore has good pricing but again, not sure of their expertise w/ lifting.
I know it is a drive, but I suggest either 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers in either Oakland on 12th, or in San Jose. Both shops get a ton of action...if you go to San Jose, there are a ton of places nearby to get the front aligned and stuff.
Good luck!

Thanks! I have heard of Valley Truck, I was gonna see about getting my exhaust done there. I work on 12th st. in Oakland and didnt know about 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers, I will definetly check them out.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
4wheelparts is decent... if ya wana pay out the yang !!
I own a shop, operate in San Rafael (just north of the Gate) and could posibly help you out for less. I can also get parts much cheaper.
Depending on what your wanting to do with your truck, i'd suggest going with the Fabtech 6" lift. Find some nice wheels ya like, most likely in a 17" (minimum) or 18" or a 20" and some 35x12.50 tire.
Let me know if ya have any questions. Feel free to e-mail me
Euroauto@sonic.net
or call @ (415) 459-3068 and ask for James (i'm normally in the shop from about 8am-4pm... and can work on the weekend if that makes it easier for ya)

Wow, that's great to know! San Rafael is a haul for me (I live in Fremont and work out in Pleasanton), but I would definitely come see you when it comes time for the lift. Heck, how much to remove my plugs for me?!? (about 26k on the odo). I've saved your info and will call you direct.
