Heres my Introduction post.. a lil late..
Well as some of you may know from seeing my few posts. I just got my latest baby on the 2nd of this month (May). Shes an '08 F150 SuperCrew XL, Dark Blue Pearl on Flint, with the 5.5' bed, 4.6L auto. I got her for $18,000 plus TTL ($19,023 or something like that) even with a sticker price of $27,880 so I'm pretty happy with the deal. (gotta love Ford Truck Month, even when your a month late for it but the salesman remembers you)
So heres the very first pic of her:

took it back to get the windows tinted: 25% front & 15% rear, plus got the Ford alarm system a and the "Jimmy Jammers" (metal plates behind the front door handles) sorry I need to get some sunny day pics, maybe tomorrow:

I already have the HBS 2.5" leveling kit for the front, just need to get it installed.

looking at getting these things as soon as I get the $$:

17 or 18 inch Moto Metal 957 in Matte Black

Harley Edition style headlights
and semi matching tails:

with an LED smoked third brake light.
also planning for the Bushwacker pocket flares and leaving them the standard matte black.
Not sure yet if I'm going to get the Carriage works black grille and bumper inserts or go with the Hella style grille.
also going to take one from forum member "Blackout" and do what he did (and what i did on my Mazda Protege) and redo the fender and tailgate badges to satin black but I'm using blue inlays.
also getting some black side bars.
BUT, its all one step at a time and when $$ allows me to get what I want. LOL
I'm the owner of a Land Surveying company, so I need my trucks to get me into some back woods areas.. but if I cant get there in a 2wd, we can hike heheh other wise this truck is mostly for street use.
Oh and before anyone starts in about chrome.. I hate chrome

Yeah I was told '08 is the first year. Only real differences between XL and XLT that I can tell, is the Grille, Bumpers, Rims, 4.6L instead of 5.4L and no cruise control. Otherwise, its got power windows, mirrors and a CD/mp3 player. I think XLTs have a 6disc? but anyway, for the price and the fact that it seats all 6 of us, I'm happy

Nice truck!
Not really necessary to get the HD headlights... look for FX4 luxury pkg lights. Not sure what the $ diff. is, but they're pretty much the same!
Here's mine:

I hate chrome also... it belongs on Harleys and vintage cars.
