Okay I bought a used SC last year from an auto auction. It has the keypads in the side for getting in the vehilce but I did not get the Key code.

Is there anyway to get the Key Code, short of taking the vehilce into the dealer? Dealership told me it would cost $175.00 to reset the Keycode for me and I think thats a load.

mine was behind the rear seat, drivers side. then just programmed my personal code from instructions on this forum

If you got the manual with the truck, a lot of salesmen will write the code inside the front cover.

 

you didn't mention what year truck you have. my 03 and older has the code on the black box under the dash on the drivers side by your left foot. the newer trucks are like mentioned above behind the rear seat

 

I just got an '04 supercrew, how do I get behind the backseat to find the keypad code?
