And truly feel like one of "The Chosen"!

6-8 weeks... grr. Been waiting for a long time as it is, and now that she's on order it feels like another eternity ahead of me. But it's well worth the wait!

You couldn't find a New Black FX4 SuperCrew 5.5 bed already instock at a dealership within a reasonable distance of were your located??? Wow, I could probobly find atleast a dozen of the exact truck you ordered within an hour or less of my front door.
Just find it odd you had to order probobly the most common F150 besides the XLT.
Nice truck you picked though...

No I/we couldn't! I originally was looking for a left over/demo '07 with those opt.'s and everything we found had it all... 'cept for leather.

My time frame for buying this has always been around the end of May (perfect BDay present too!)... so it works out perfectly and I get 100% exactly what I want.

Cool! Another Luxury Package FX4 is born! I love mine.

It is much cheaper to have one shipped in, even from another state, instead of having one built. Took my dealer several days to locate one with all the options I wanted and to arrange for it to be trucked in from half way across the country. Saved $4600 versus having it built.

You should have drove up here to Tasca Ford in Cranston RI. They have 100's of F-150's on the lot! Biggest Dealer around the North East!....& I know they would have given you a sweet deal! No 6-8 week wait either! Heck I drive down to Donate $$$$ at Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun in Ct. all the time!............

100's? Looks more like 19... and range from $34k to $46k for a Lariat...

I got mine, with what I want (which is pretty much loaded) for less than Tasca's lowest price. And I didn't need the X-Plan!

Besides, like I said... waiting the 6-8 weeks fits perfectly into the original master plan of a late May purchase.

Congrats. I am in the same boat. I ordered my 08 Screw FX4 DSG back in February and am patiently waiting for it to get here.
