Weatherguard makes a very good box, just whatever you get.. i would suggest a low profile box. I got a regular box and it sticks up way too high. I think it looks kinda goofy. OWS also makes a nice box, just depends on your budget !

It all depends on your needs. I got a box just to throw some stuff in such as new jack, jumper cables, cleaning supplies, etc.. I got a Delta Pro and its great. Paid about $285 for it. It looks great, doesn't sit high at all compared to the Weatherguards, holds all my belongings, it had gullwing doors so you can open them and reach in and grab stuff from the side of your truck instead of having to climb up on the bed, its super secure, and it's weather tight. I still got room below it in case I need to use the entire length of the bed.

The weatherguards are the cream of the crop but your also gonna have to pay for them, and they're a good chunk of change. If your not in construction or work in a trade, save yourself the $$$ and get a middle of the road box. You should be able to get a good solid one for less than $300.

So after all that, I'll sell you mine if you want, I'm going with a Tonneau Undercover soon and won't be needing it anymore.

Thanks. It's a UWS chest-style box. It cost just under $300. If you want it in silver it'll be $270. That was over 2 years ago though, so who knows what it would cost now.

I've got a low profile DeeZee on my Super Crew. It cost me just under 400 but it was worth every penny. You barely notice it out your rear view mirror and can still store a lot of stuff both inside the box as well as under it in the truck bed. I was going to go with the WeatherGuard but they are so much money and sit so high.

I never miss an opportunity to tell someone how nice RKI toolboxes are. I work in construction, open it multiple times daily, and it is over 6 years old. Works like new. I have tried different brands, but they are nothing compared to RKI. They are pricey but are worth every penny.

That is different. I have not seen one of those before and as far as price goes 400 for a tool box and 400 for a cover is not that bad
