I have an 07 KR with a 5.4 powerplant and my mileage ranges from 19.9 to 18.6 but all of my driving is out of town for hunting, fishing, and camping activities. The mountain route that I take, Highway 285 is generally 55 mph with some 65 mph and lots and lots of radar on the way, thus, I just drive the speed limit. Haven't pulled my trailer with it yet but expect a lot less mileage. Also, put my first tank of E-85 in a couple of days ago -- it will be interesting to gauge the mileage with this. But at $2.29 per gal, I can most likely live with it. In the Colorado mountains, diesel is $4.69, regular 85 octane is $3.39. Am considering carrying ten extra gallons of flex fuel from Denver to my camp site when I go fishing because of the local cost of gas in Buena Vista, CO.

I usually average about 13.5-14.2 mpg.We just recently took a trip to Orlando from Chicago. On the way down going through the mountains and a lot of cross winds I was able to get a little better than 18.5mpg.On the way back up I got 17.8 with a good head wind. And my average speed was 77mph. All of this with an 07 Lincoln Mark Lt.3:73 limited slip front and rear.Stock 18 inch tires. And a Leer cap on the back.

I'd say 13-15 MPG city is right on target with every F-150 I've owned. Whether it had been a SCab or SCrew, 4X2 or 4X4, 4.6L or 5.4L, 3.55 or 3.73 or 4.10, that's right where they all were at.

I am currently averaging right around 15MPG in mixed driving back and forth to work. If I am on the hwy for an extended trip I can nudge it to 17MPG is I stay at the speed limit.

Some mods are abvious, but others are in my sig...

Would have to assume it is...but I have been driving it with an extremely light foot since I put the lift and tires on it. I am only turning right at 1600 RPM at 65MPH...and it usually has the power to not have to downshift on small grades.

I can't complain at all...haven't tried an entire tank on one highway trip, but seems like it will get at least 17MPG. City is right around 15MPG consistently, with the calculator...not taking the EDGE reading for gospel.
