i was at the gas station and i dont smoke but i was getting a twenty out of my ash tray and then i popped that piece that comes out back in and i tapped it to close and now its stuck. that whole unit wont come out when you tap on it. how do i get it unstuck without damage?

 

tap on it and tryin prying it out with a popsicle stick, if i dont come just keep tapping on it, my 07's ashtray gets stuck too i took it out and lubed it with some graphite. if that dont work (i got the column shift) just pull the little cubby plastic piece out (the trim piece under the ashtray) and take the 2 phillips screws out and the ashtray comes right out.
