Wonder what the total cost difference between buying the HD F150 from dealership compared to giving a STX a make over.

It probably depends on if you're financing it or not. I still have less than $30k in my truck and I have it the way I want it. Mainly because I wanted a White truck cloned as a Harley with a few differences. I'm not doing the HD front bumper valance but I am considering installing a Harley exhaust system. I've got a set of painted mirror caps on the way now.

I saw one of those rare F150 limited's this afternoon after reading this thread and my first thought was that it was your truck. Well done

I really like the Limited Editions. One of the features about the Limited Edition and Harley's I don't care for is the front bumper lower valance. If the trucks had a complete ground effects kit, it would look better. I also like the interior on the Limited a lot.
