rear window leaking

Hey people,

Well after having to sit in the rear seat I noticed some water on the top on the seat right near the rear auto sliding window. Starting looking more into it , found that the head liner above just the sliding window was getting soaked. I now have a towel ontop of the seat because right now it is pouring here and water keeps coming in.

Any ideas, once it is dry I am going to take a look at the seal and the brake light to see if that is where the water is coming in.

Anyone else have this problem.

Maybe it's the 3rd brake light.

last month I took the truck though a touchless wash and while getting washed I did notice a small drip from the same place as yours. I took out the third brake light and where the wires go in there is a grommet. It looked fine but I had some bathroom culk so I used some around the wires and grommet. When I went and washed it last week there was no leak

Thanks for the info I will check that out on sat. Hopefully that is all it is. There was a good amount of water coming in. Luckily I have the leather seats so did not ruin anything.

I think that happens to every other person. Take it off put a bead of that latex gasket sealant around the edge. That cured mine.

The same thing was happening to me after taking the truck to the touchless car wash. I just took the third brake light off and then put it back making sure it was seated on the there ok and it stopped, maybe I just lucked out.
