does everyone's foot heat suck

i got a 07 screw and its been damn cold up here lately, like -30 degrees plus. the foot heat absolutely sucks! worst vehicle i've had yet. well i was snooping around and i'm thinking of blocking the vents under the seats to get more air flow up front. has anyone else did this? i plan on just stuffing a towel in each one or something like that nothing permanent. any ideas guys

I have a new 07 King Ranch Screw and the heating system is so efficient that I have to open the windows just to cool the place off. You must have some type of problem with a vent being closed (likely during construction). Take it to the dealer, you are under warranty and they want you to be happy. Also, I have tested my air conditioning system and it is also an icy cool down. My unit has the thermostatically controlled heat/air system.

Mine works absolutely great! Always have to turn the temp down once the engine heats up. Its not -30, but its 2F here right now.

what do u mean? i keep the hot all the way hot and when i turn on the foot heat (on the foot heat, not the vent and foot heat) its like almost no warm air blows out of it, the back blows fine but the drivers vents almost no heat. am i doing something wrong??? i dont have the recirculation button on the a/c button lit.

My 07 KR's heat works like it should. You should take it to the dealer and have them fix it if there is a problem with yours. Hope you get it fixed quickly as in that kind of weather I would want every part of my heater system to work properly.

my foot head completely sucks too but thats because it doesnt even work properly. i can turn my heat on at any setting and for some reason the air will always come blasting out of the defrost vents at mach and just trickle out where its supposed too. im gonna have the dealer look at it when i get my oil change this month.

well all my vents work fine, but the foot heat just sucks. i mean bad, i commute 10 miles to work and i think i'm gonna have to wear winter boots this week. not what i expect from a 30,000 dollar pickup. i still stink that plugging the rear vents will help alot, but maybe not. you would think they would have a setting for front heat only, but i guess not

The foot heat in my 07 Lariat is great. But I wonder if it's related to the fact I don't have the console blocking things. Our 04 Expedition's heat isn't so great when it's set on the floor.

Surely get yours into the dealer asap and have them check it out. You may just have something blocked or the blend door isn't opening properly or something.

i dont understand what the console would have to do with it? i have column shift and i have air blowing only from above the gas pedal and the same on the opposite side, should it be coming out elsewhere? (and in the back under the seats too.

Mine heats great too but the floor is a little cool on the toes. Course I have poor circulation from age. I used 2 big paper clips and a small piece of cardboard to deflect the air toward the floor.Working great. This might not solve your problem tho if you dont have any air flow.
