Canada v.s U.S.A

Ok.....not startin a war here......I was just intrested in knowing if there is a difference between American and Canadian Screws(no pun intended ).... I have bought a Black 2006 F150 XLT Screw...it came up the U.S of A....Michigan to be exact....I had it in today to have the dash cluster Canadianised....Are the F150`s basically on par i.e....trim packages...wheels etc...Mine has 5.4L auto electric 4x4 am-fm cd (no sirrius)...two tone cloth interior ,heated mirriors, the 17" aluminum wheels(two colored ones) tow package..Ford box liner.....just curious.....I`m not sure which rear end I have to be exact....3.55 sounds familiar....besides that Loving the Truck

although some states have daytimes running lights.

I have heard that there are a few less things re: safety in the US built trucks as well. I looked at importing cause I live so close to the border and there were 2 things I needed to do to pass a Ontario safety, the first had to do with child tethers in the rear seats. The US trucks only had 1 (I think) and Ontario says there needs to be more. I can't remember what the second item was but it was something on par with the tether. Not really that important to me (no kids).

My Truck required a Cdn Dash Cluster...it had DRL`s and tethers in back..it also has those locking child seat thingys...I guess coming from Michigan it was "Cold weather" ready....it has Rear window defroster..no grids..must be some new tech....sweet
