2006 Screw headlight switch panel removal

I bought a pair of lights for my wife's 2006 F150 Lariat Screw. I have searched and can't find panel or switch removal instructions for a 2006. I want to drill the left side of the panel to the left of the switch for the new switch. Is there even room behind there for a switch? If not can anyone recommend another location and how to remove the panel at that location? It is a flush mount rocker switch with three blades out the back and the hole to be drilled is 25/32. The switch is about 3/4 in size in all dimensions.

Thanks

OK, I found a thread about the headlight switch for a 2004 and tried the pull it out. Got it out, no room on that panel. So the panel below the headlight switch might be a canidate. Plenty of room for switch and wires. Any advice on how to get through the firewall without drilling and that isn't a major PITA? I will keep looking but any advise would be great.

Thanks

If your truck has a floor shifter there is a hole just under the carpet behind the brake pedal that is about 1.5" diameter - this is where the cable for the column shifters runs on trucks that have it, so it's empty if you have a floor shifter. I used this hole for my XM antenna.

That was the perfect spot!!!! I don't know how I missed it the first time I looked before posting. Now I just have to figure out what wire is High Beam +12v. Right now I just have them wired directly to the battery.

Thanks!
