beltminder problem

i didn't know where else to post this question, sorry. i'm having trouble disabling the beltminder in my 06 f150 screw. i tried 2 methods, the buckle 3x, turn on and off headlights buckel 3x etc. and then the buckle/unbuckle 9x method. i got the best results with the buckle/unbuckle 9x way, i even get the confirmation blinks. the problem is, it still doesn't turn off. any ideas why it still won't go off??

Look in your owners manual and see what the specific method for your truck is. I remember when I disabled mine I found several methods online but they were all different than the one in the manual.

well i don't technically have my owner's manual, so i downloaded it. it says to do the 9 times method. that's what i did and got confirmation, but it still stays on. oh well, i'll live with it i guess. thanks guys!

I just did mine the other day. Let's see if I can remeber. Turn the key on; wait for the light (can't remeber which light) to go off (it takes about 1 minute); buckle and unbuckle 9 times ending in the unbuckled position; the light will start flashing; buckle and unbuckle one more time; turn the key off.
