Exclamation Inertia Switch Oper

Ok i have a 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew and i just got it and my dads been trying to take it for a spin when im not around, so i want to cutoff the fuel when im not using it so he cant take it Because hes known for wrecking car on the FIRST DRIVE(3TIMES), Now i know where the inertia switch is, its just that on the top of it where i guess the switch or button is suppose to be there is a flat red plastic top and i tried pushing it down but its seem like it not a button becuase it doesnt go down, so im not sure if im suppose to flip a switch then push it down or wat. can anyone help me out on how to work it?

Or if anyone knows a way i can make my truck unstartable without going under the hood or passing too much trouble. pulling a certain plug behind my dash or something would be perfect.

Many thanks

Locking the doors and hiding the keys gotta be the easiest way of keeping your dad out of the truck!

Install a simple ignition kill switch, well hidden under the dash, my 91 Chevy K1500 can with one as a factory option.......

Buy or find a second key and don't program it to your truck - it will open the door and go in the ignition, but won't crank. Just make sure to keep your key with you!

LOL yeah i told him not to drive my truck already. I think hes in love with it since its has everything his truck doesnt(from a v8 motor to 4 12s behind the back bench ). i think the ignition kill switch might be a good idea . im have to do it sometime this week when i get off work.do you know what type of switch i should use?or is any regular old switch good?
