opinions on chrome bug guard and invent window shade

I'm looking for pictures and opinions on the chrome mini bug guard. I own an 07 supercrew red metellic and was considering buying the chrome bug and the inchanel vent, for the windows. Any opinions would be appreciated, along with pictures of people who have these items. Thanks................

In-channel vent visors = awesome.
Chrome bugflector I'm not so keen on it. If you have the chrome package, then yes. But with a red metallic, I'd say go with the smoked one.

Well, I need to see pictures of your truck! I want my next Supercrew to be the red metallic with the chrome package. If you need to see the small chrome bug guard, look in my gallery. You'll see my 2007 Screw with one on it. My 2007 F-250 has one as well - Toreador red truck with chrome, and smoke vent visors. My 2007 F-150 had the chrome package, as well. I'd personally stay away from the smoke if you have a chrome package truck, but look at my last truck and draw your own judgements. Good luck.

In fact, here's a picture from my gallery...

You asked so I will give my opinion. I do not like any color of bug shield on a vehicle other than the color of the vehicle. So, a chorme one would look good only on a chrome vehicle. Having said that, if you must have a bug shield and can't find one the color of the vehicle, then if the gille and grille surround are both chorme, then the chrome shield is the lesser of two distractions. A black shield on a red vehicle just detracts from the beauty of the vehicle for me. Keep in mind that I am someone that refused to put a black bug shield on a black truck because, to me, they look like a wart on the front. I had one on my last truck and I don't think they are very effective anyway.

I vote for the body color shades. Click on the little camera at the top right of my post to visit my gallery and see them on a red truck (ok, at least its red on top).

F150 with some chrome

I have a 2006 F 150 FX4 in Ford "True Blue" with contrast grey on the lower panels. I put the mini chrome bug deflector and quite like the look, although it did take a bit to get use to. I have photo to attach to this reply but will have to figure out again how 2!

Will the mini chrome bug shield work on an 04 F-150? You look on fords accessory website and it says its only available for 05-07 F-150's. Aren't they all the same in the front? Thanks!
