i just got my 08 fx2 last sunday. i have a couple of questions. i want a little more power.. what will or wont void my warranty.
i want to do
exhaust, just a muffler or catback
cold air intake
programer
and 2 inch drop shackles
also want to do 20s or 22s
any suggestions on wheels would be greatly appericated

go with magnaflow 16612 si/so 3" for the exaust...sounds great

yeah, look into 2 inch drop shakles or a 2/4 drop kit.

also....look into the harley davidson 22's for 2008.

look below...have most of what you are looking for. any pics??? I love the grille for the FX2 and was thinking about taking my ugly honeycomb out to replace it with the FX2 grille.

what about the warranty? will those items void the warranty. cold air, programer, exhaust and 2 inch drop shackles?
im use to my cobra so i want alittle more power out of the 5.4

Now that is a nice looking driveway.

 

The only thing on your list that would almost automatically void the warranty (at least for pwr train work) is a programmer. If you need to take the truck in for service however, and can "flash back" to a stock PCM, you should be all set.
Also depends on the dealer, but a CAI and exhaust should NOT void any warranty. Some may be ****** and try to say they won't do warranty work with those mods, but unless you somehow (unimaginably) FUBAR installing a CAI and/or cat-back they have no ground to stand on.

thanks everyone.. i didnt even know they made a 6.5 foot bed till the day after i bought it.. thanks on the compliaments on my driveway but my wifes 07 mercede e350 wasnt in the pic. she actually picked out this truck. thanks on the warranty info, i work on mercedes and have a ford delaer across the street who have done warranty work on my cobra so i think ill be all set.. thanks again
