How much is it worth?
How much is it worth?
Im looking to sell my 02 Screw lariet
Its white with the 4.6 v8. It has 87K miles.
The body is in great shape with only 2 dents.
it has magnaflow exhaust, 3" air intake, chrome handles, mirrors, and door stills. bug deflector, and window/rain guards.
grey leather in good shape and
20" harley rims with good tires also has the bed extender.
I have no need for a truck any more. I live in florida if that matters.
truck has been very good to me no problems what so ever.

Also try Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds. Take all 3 and come out with an average. Keep in ind that your upgrades will not bring you anymore money. If anything, it can sometimes hurt the value. Hope this helps!

Original poster, you left out one key thing, 4wd. It costs about $2500 initially and trains it's thatspread until the truck dies. Regardless, go to www.KBB.com & www.Edmunds.com to get estimated values. They force you to enter 2wd/4wd, engine and options your truck might have.

Why sell her?
Reminds me of the dumbest thing I did last year which was to sell my pristine low mileage '02 Lariat screw to "save gas and the planet and all that jazz". The bottom line is that after trying a "rice burner", then a "little truck", I came back exactly 1 year later to get an '08 Screw. I learned my lesson. Now, I get exactly 1 MPG less than the "little V6 truck" and I am a happy camper again. Plus the kids will actually ride with me and not whine about being bunched up in the smaller ride.
Once you have all the comfort, utility and safety the screw offers, it's D@#! hard to go anywhere else. Hope this helps.

I haven't used Edmunds but have used KBB and NADA a lot in the past. The last 3 dealers I went to looking at used F150's all pulled the Blue book value from NADA. I ended buying a used F150 off a no reserve auction on EBay and it was right in line with NADA.
Also, I totaled same EBAY 2000 F150 in a 20 car pile up last winter. My insurance carrier who is StateFarm, also used NADA to cut me the check.
I since then picked up my 03 from a dealer, who also used NADA when I told him to bluebook it. The credit union that gave me the loan, also used NADA.
Just on my experience, here is Michigan, it seems to be what most dealers and insurance carriers use. I've also sold a 93 F150 and that value was right in line with NADA. Maybe it's just my location but everyone around here seems to put more weight in NADA than anyone else. Again, I never used Edmunds and KBB came in above NADA on everything I looked at.
Who know's. Best bet is to probably Blue Book from all 3 sites and take the average.
NADA must have something different than what they give out for free @ nadaguides.com because as I said, the difference on my truck last week when I looked it up was $5k more for Nada.
I actually think dealers look up a vehicle in recent auctions and modify from there. I don't think there are any books left, as there are electronic databases of cars sold/trades/auctioned availible on-line.
