Looks great. Then the wheels & tires....oh yeah, the grill, the Bedrug. Better cover the bed while I'm at it. Man those Catchall mats look nice. My daughter would love a DVD player in the back seat. My Gawd there are a lot of grills to choose from. That exhaust sure does sound nice.....where does it end????

Question on install...

I, too, am looking at having a 2.5 " leveling kit installed on my 06' Lariat Supercrew, and am having a hard time finding a local shop (Baton Rouge, LA) to install the kit for a fair price (from $100 - $200 range)... One place even quoted me $450 JUST TO INSTALL the kit.. Said for my year truck, the install is veeeeery difficult and the coil springs are very tricky to remove / they almost break their equipment when installing / etc...

Could anyone provide info on this..and how difficult it ACTUALLY is to install?

I don't see how this could be that difficult / time consuming of a task, but I'm not a mechanic...

Thanks in advance...

It's not hard at all. Just remove the three bolts on the top and the one on the bottom of your oem shock, undo the tie rods and it should slide right out and the spacer bolts right up. Not that hard at all, not even worth 100 bucks IMO.

Oh yea, just do a search. There are multiple right ups of how to install one, step by step.

I had mine done over 2 yrs ago at the Mudhole in Kenner(close to airport) 2 1/2" Daystar kit installed and alignment checked for $350 no problems at all and put over 20k miles. The autospring kit is a lot easier to install and less expensive, most members are doing it themselves.
