REAR WINDOW vs kids/wife
Hey guys this afternoon my wife and kids were in the screw, That whe all agree on but then the story gets real blury, you know the "I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPEN IT JUST WON'T ROLL UP ". Anyway when I got home the rear passanger window was still down I tried the switch and it rollled up just fine but when I went to roll it down it makes a screaching sound for the first 1/2 inch or so
sounds like glass on metal .. anyone know what this is ?? And does anyone know how to take off the door panel so I can look at the track system ..

as far as the door panel goes, there should be a trim piece on the rear side of the door towards the top that should pop off from the top, and then follow the screws from there. If you look in the audio section, im sure there is someone who has posted pics on where to pull and where screws are, etc etc. Im at work now otherwise id take pics myself. If push comes to shove, drive down to your local best buy's car audio install bay and have them show you. We do that kinda stuff every day. As for your sound, id say figure it out soon. Glass on metal is never good...that happened in my girls '03 diesel bug, and two days later, the window fell into the door....now that was a pain in the butt to fix.
