How to level a supercrew

I have a 2005 Lariat supercrew truck and I want to level the front to match the back. Is this something I can tackle myself with a jack? Anyone done this themselves with no help or special tools.

Thanks
Chris

search autospring....you want a autospring 2 or 2.5" leveling kit....about 90-100 bucks on ebay...unlike the other leveling kits it mounts ontop of the strut so you dont have to dismantle the strut assembly to install...you will want an alignment afterwards tho....i just had my mechanic install it and the alignment...install was only like $80 so i didn't waste my time with it but alot of guys here have done it themselves

Yep the autospring is the way to go. and if I remember correctly his Ebay name is sprngbender or something like that. i would go with the 2.5" spacer if you have a 4x4 and do not tow alot of things. if you do tow or hual alot or have a 4x2 I would go with the 2" spacer. It is also very easy to install it will only take you about 1.5 hrs and you get the satisfaction of working on your own truck. Just make sure you get an alignment got mine at the Ford house here for 40.00 bucks.

Godd Luck

due to the slightly more severe levels the 2.5" puts on the control arms and balljoints i went with the 2"...i dont tow anything and i have a 4x4....looks perfect to me....either one you choose will look good....note that noone has had any problems with the 2.5" that i know of so the choice is yours....good luck

Yeah just jack it up with a good 6000 lb floor jack and mount the jack to your truck's suspension....just make sure you put heavy duty rollerblade wheels on it so they can go FAST !

No spring compressor needed. Do a search on this site for "as install" or something along those lines and you find lots of good write ups and some with pics. They have tool lists and all!
