How do I find out if my truck got the new longer warranty from the factory. It was not in my glove box when I bought it new?

Check with the service department at the Ford dealership.

 

F151 is correct. I just bought my 05 Screw last month. The salesman and I walked over to the service desk to find out. With the VIN they can tell you when the warranty expires.

It should be on your window sticker as well

 

The 5 year/60,000 mile warranty went into effect July 2006. If you bought your truck prior to that, it probably has the 3 year/36,000 warranty. Call the service department at any dealer and they can tell you when the warranty expires on your truck (have the VIN ready). It was not on the window sticker or in the factory manual as the longer warranty was announced at the end of the model year.
