Talking Improvments

I did some work this morning on the SCrew. I installed an Airaid CAI and changed the oil to Mobil1 5w20 and motorcraft filter. The airaid unit was easy to intall. It took me about an 1 1/2hrs The oil change took 30. Hoping for 1-2mpg increase for 2hrs labor and ~$150.

The airaid unit was pretty easy to install. I got a great deal off from the classifieds here.

The oil change wasn't bad, but the oil filter location sucks. I could barely get the filter off with my old oil filter wrench (band style). Not enough room for ratchteting the wrench.

Yeah, thanks Torkum.

I just bought a nice tire gauge. I was planning on doing checking it today.

I just got back from the first test drive. Sounds good. I don't know about added power (just rained), but it sounded meaner when I got in the throttle a little.

I also just added photos in my gallery.

Looks good! My next mod will be an intake - probably around October sometime.

The filter wrenches with the adjustable elbo work really well. Not much room in there at all.

You can hope for 1-2 MPG increase, but I doubt you'll see any improvement.
