KBB doesn't matter - 99% of insurance policies are actual cash value. Look at it like this, your insurance company is now your customer that you want to sell your truck to (based off of its pre crash condition). That is your starting point - what would you have been able to sell your truck for the day before the crash? You should take a look at your local market by looking at classifieds and on the local lots. See what trucks such as yours are listed for, then be realistic. Just because someone is asking $15,000 for a truck - that doesn't mean they will get anywhere near that. The dealerships are your best bet to get an accurate picture. Find several trucks like yours - same features and similar mileage - and see what they are listing them for. Then back out some cash because dealerships carry overhead that they have to figure in to the price of the truck, which a private seller does not. Also, if you don't like what the insurance company offers - reject it. You can get an arbitrator to do an appraisal. Hope this gets you on your way to figuring out what you might get.

I would have to go with a "yes". Good thing you are ok. seems pretty crunched... good thing your not crunched. Good luck with the insurance co. and getting as much $$$ as you can.
