Wonderin who else did this?
Alrighty I have an '03 F150 Supercrew...duh right. When we (my family) first got it we put a gooseneck hitch in the bed. It is a little close but we manage to pull with it twice to three times a year on long hauls...anybody else do this? Jw
I had an '02 before the '06 and pulled a gooseneck with it also. I have a 20ft open car hauler. I special ordered it to be pulled with a 1/2 ton. The axles were slid ahead 18 inches over standard, which allows the trailer to carry the majority of the weight instead of the truck. I also had brakes instaled on both axles. I odrered this years ago when I pulled with my cherry '85 F150, so it had 5 on 5 Ford Alcoa wheels installed to match the truck as well. I use it to haul cars among other things, and the truck handles it just fine. GVW on the trailer is 7,000 lbs.
