blue headlights

i was a truck the other night with very blue headlights almost purple. anyone what bulbs these could be?

Probably Blue Xenon lights. I had a set in my '97 F-150 for a while. They really made street signs and pavement markings stand out. On the highway, they didn't reach out very far, so I went back to Halogens.

Probably a Xenon kit/conversion .. the camera takes some of the blue away but here's how mine turned out:
