New FX-4 SCrew
Just picked up my new FX4 SCrew Wednesday night. It was raining when I picked it up, so it's nasty already
I'm 99% thrilled with it. The 1% that's not thrilled is due to the fuel mileage... i'm getting like 10 mpg on the highway cruising at 80 mph. I hope it will improve with time. That's worse than my 96 Z71. I wouldn't worry that much about it, but I have a 160+ mile round trip commute (3 days per week). Oh well, I suppose I'll start driving our Honda S2000 back and forth to work and keep the truck stowed away in the garage for weekends and trips.
I traded my 2000 Contour SVT in on the truck, which was like saying goodbye to an old friend. It will be missed.
And now for a couple of low-quality pics. I'll get some better pics this weekend...

First night in its new home.

So evil.

Congrats on the new truck. I ordered mine in March and it arrives a little over three weeks ago and I have been very pleased with it. Of course, the modding is always fun too.
Your garage is HUGE! Down the road when we build I will hopefully have one that big (if I put my truck (FX4 Screw 6.5 ft bed) in my current garage I would have less than 2" front and rear with the door closed).

Every truck will be a little differant, but anything over 75mph for me, and the KR will suck the gas. I stay between 70-75mph and getting a little over 17mpg. You just have to get used to it.
Nice truck! And for S&G's.....what size is that garage? Looks like a three car?

Thanks for the comments ya'll.
Garage is 1200 sq. feet with 800 sq. ft bonus room upstairs, detached, 2 big doors for the cars, and one door on the side for the motorcycles. It's actually a 4 car garage, but is deeper than it is wide, so I could park 2 cars on either side bumper to bumper, if I didn't have one bay filled with bikes.... well, it's not actually filled yet... still working on that
It is an awesome garage. I'm done buying houses, so I had one chance to build my dream garage, and so I did.

Yikes! That's nasty gas mileage.
I just took a road trip in my '07 FX4 from Utah to NC and back with 400 pounds of gear in the bed. Came out to 19.1 MPG with an average speed of 79 MPH (according to my GPS). A lot of that driving was on 85 octane (high elevation). Just as a side note, there was a definite DECREASE in power when I started buying fuel on the East Coast.
