gas mileage questions!
I get 12.9MPG all city driving with my 4x4 using regular unleaded. Prior to my '06 the '01 4x2 only got 14-15MPG all city driving. So for me it is a 2MPG diffference between 4x4 and 4x2. Just depends if you think you will have a frequent need for 4x4.

My DD is an 07 KR 4x4 3.73 LS with plenty of highway miles (12k and change).
For gas mileage, I experience between 13-16 mpg in the city (depends how aggressive you are with acceleration) and between 12-20 mpg on the highway. Usually I get 15 in the city and 17 on the highway. Wind plays an important factor on making or breaking fuel economy with these big trucks.
Best of luck.

I've got an 06 4.6L 4x4 supercrew that gets 15 city and 20+ highway and I'm flying on the high way but I just put cruise at or around 75-80 and leave it till it's on empty. Just don't be a lead foot I've learned that the hard way. I drive 40 miles a day and thats just to and from work. so I have to learn to drive sensible and not try to show up people in their "foreign trucks"

Sounds about right at any dealer assuming its a 2WD with few options... you trade anything in? money down?

07 screw FX4, 3.73gears ... For the first 6000km I was getting 450km to a tank, no matter what type of driving. I sure don't know what the significance of 6000km is, but after I hit 6000km on the odometer it was like night and day, now I consistantly get 600km+ to a tank. Gotta figure out what that actually is in milage though.. and that takes math... so it may take me a while
