Bedrug

I went to shop around for fiberglass lids and spray in bed protection. The Leer dealer had this bedrug material and I am seriously considering it for my new Lariat. It looks good and is soft. I have a big trailer for ATV, dirt mulch, gravel, etc. so I won't need the bed for that. Mostly luggage, coolers, hunting/fishing gear.

Anyone have it? Or anyone ever considered it? Looking for good or bad opinions...

Thanks.

The Bedrug is fantastic for medium/light bed use. General hauling, luggage, groceries, hunting gear... it can't be beat. It's well padded and comfortable to sit or sleep on. It doesn't absorb water, so it's no problem pressure washing the crud off of it (dries very quickly).

I had one in my '05 FX4, and liked it so much I bought another for my '07 FX4. Even works with the tail gate extender (see gallery).

You say "Light/Medium" usage... meaning no throwing cinder blocks in the bed.

I've seen these, but never totally understood having a "rug" in the back. Always figured the 'washable' aspect was a gimmick, and/or didn't last very long and would develop wear spots or bald spots.

Youse all seem pretty happy with them so I may have to look into these again. Just curious to know how they handle the occasional trip to HD/Lowes for lumber/drywall/etc.

Haven't had the Bedrug very long, but it fits my needs and looks great. I will never get a drop in or spray on liner again.

This is a marine grade material and is not made like the rug in your house. You can power wash the rug clean if there is any dirt on it. Great product.

Well, I wouldn't throw cinder blocks or bricks back there, but hauling them? No problem. I use mine to pick up pavers, bricks, lumber, etc. No tears (yet).

Is $339 shipped a good price to pay for one of these?

Shop around a bit and you'll probably find one around $300 delivered. I got the last two I bought from Truckaddons.com

Just installed mine this week, I am VERY HAPPY. It looks good and talk about a perfect fit. I have had drop-in liners, a bed mat but by far, I am pleased with this the most. I paid $295 for the bedrug and $300 for the Extang Trifecta and I am please with the results and looks!
