steering jitter

I have been noticing that when I am driving or turn the steering wheel quick or hit a bump that I feel some jittering through the steering wheel. It is hard to explain how it feels. My steering is definately not smooth no more and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? This problem was happening before my tires and 2" leveling kit.

Sounds like you might have some bad ball joints or bad steering components such as idler/pitman arm, tie rod ends, etc. Not sure what year truck you have but I would start looking there.

I am feeling the same vibration in my gas pedal also along in the steering column.Does anyone have an idea what this could be.I don't have a good dealer here so any help would be nice so I could tell them what to check.
