flow through clear up?

Hello! This is my first post. Im working in Iraq and was considering buying a used F-150 when I get home. Ford has some killer incentives on new trucks right now for military and it doesn't make much sense to buy a two year old truck for for the price I can pick a new one up at right now.

This is a noob question but I can't call the dealer and i've been all over Fords site.

I want a SCREW and I'm looking at the FX4 with the towing package. Am I right in thinking that the flow through console with the center shifter is standard on all FX4 and Lariats as long as you get the captains chair option?

I see the option online to choose the captains chairs but it says nothing about the flow through console.

It's only avaliable on the FX4 and Lariat and only if you choose captains chairs?

All help is appreciated. Thanks.

The flow through console is standard on the Lariat, & an option on the FX4, I personally like the 40-20-40 bench seat with the flip up cosole, as I think it's more comfortable than the captains chairs+ my honey can sit real close & be naughty when she wants!

got cha, and thanks for the reply. My confusion is on Fords site when I build an FX4 there is no mention of the flow through, only diff seating set ups.

when you choose capt chairs on an FX4 is it a given that it's got the flow through?

That's a reasonable assumption, however I can't really confirm it from Ford's website either. I've looked at alot of Screws over the last few months and can't recall seeing one with Capt chairs and the fold center seat.

I prefer the center shifter...and it's never prevented any "interaction" between me and the wife

If you get the captains chairs, you get the flow-thru console.

IMHO the captains chairs are the shiznit.

Same thing happened to me. I started out looking for a used '04 or '05 and ended up getting a new '06 because of left over pricing incentives last month. Typical. I still see used '06s with 15K miles on them advertised for more than I paid out the door
