HEC,
The Chrome Package is not a Chrome Edition. XLT's and Lariats can come with a Chrome Package, but that does not mean they are a Chrome Edition. The whole Chrome Edition thing was something I think Roush put out a couple of years back, and put a fancy shmancy badge on the truck to say "Look at me! I'm special".

Roush's chrome is kind of like the "Midwest" and "Northwoods" editions I have seen, where a company adds some special touches (like Roush) to set a truck apart from the rest. As an "Edition" that is in fact a limited type, or not all over the street, it leaves people turning their heads and wondering what it is... precisely what this "Chrome Edition" post did.

The Ford Chrome Package is different on the Lariats vs the XLTs.

The XLT package has the H-Bar Grille vs the other grill. It also does not include the chrome tipped mirrors or chrome tailgate and door handles.

XLT List

-Chrome H-Bar Grille
-Chrome 5" Step Bars
-Chrome 18" Wheels and BFG Tires
-Chrome Exhaust Tip

If Anybody wants to trade my XLT Chrome grille for a Lariat version, PM me.

Well anyways I found a new Chrome Edition emblem Im going to put on my truck.

Ive added some Chrome stuff and have some Chrome handles on the way and just thought the Chrome Edition emblem would look sweet saying "Look at me! I'm special".

I printed out a picture of were whitecrystal1 has his on the tailgate and going to match mine up the same I believe.
