They don't install the cold air intake just the chip. They said truck will still be under warranty and they do alot of them. They have one guy that pretty much does it and works the dyno they have all day.The name of the dealership is Tasca. They have a small partnership with John Force in funny car NHRA drag racing so they like racing and performance. They also do exhausts.

Yea I had the dealer I bought my truck at try to sell me an intake and exhaust, and he did mention to me some programming tuners, but I don't recall him saying they would install the tuner. He may have just been mentioning that to me while showing me the other aftermarket stuff he was trying to push.

The guy I am dealing with mentioned the chip only after I told him that I was a little dissapointed that Ford has not increased the power and torque on the 5.4.I have a 04 FX4 SCREW that I am selling and thought they would have done something to the engine in 3 years. But he told me they use 2 different chips: BULLYDOG and SCT.From reading up here I guess the bullydog is for deisels. They give you a before and after dyno comparrison sheet telling you how much of an increase you get.All I really want is a little more get up and go and I don't want something that has a read out that has to be on the dash or play with a programmer all the time.Just a plug in and go type of chip. The intake I will do on my own.I had an air raid on my 04.

Just get the xcal2 it is a tuner that you use to flash the new program on your computer and it downloads your stock tune so that you can always revert back to it. The livewire and the edge are the products you are refering to that sit out on the dash.

I have seen alot of good feedback on the xcal and the edge but was is the bottom line HP gain on them. Does anyone actually get 30 or 50 HP out of these chips? I have not read a post yet where somone states I got ? HP after installing the chip.

I have not done any paper work yet. They said truck should be delivered in 8-10 weeks. What ever ford is offering at that point is what I will end up with.Thats how it went down when I ordered my 04.Hopefully it is the same rebates or better.......
