Anyone replaced a grille insert lately? '02 S-crew

Hello all,
Does anyone have any tips for replacing a grille insert on a 2002 SCrew? I hate the gray bars on my XLT 2WD, and have a honeycomb insert from another truck. I can get all the clips around the insert loose, but how do you get the dang thing out? If I have to pull the whole grille surround, how do you do that? The two clips in the center are easy enough, but around the turn signals is giving me fits, and I don't want to break anything...help!

Have a nice day!

If I remember correctly, there are two bolts/nuts on both sides behind the turn signals that need to be removed. I took mine out almost a year ago so hope this info is accurate.
